As a paralegal at Perry Charnoff PLLC, Megan LaVeck helps to make sure that our day-to-day operations run smoothly and efficiently. She joined the firm out of a desire to work closely with clients in order to achieve positive outcomes, effect change, and help set new precedents wherever possible.
Prior to joining Perry Charnoff PLLC, Ms. LaVeck worked one-on-one with clients in various areas of patient care in a hectic hospital setting. Her strong background in the medical sector enables her to handle the complex medical records process that our clients’ cases often require.
Ms. LaVeck graduated from the University of Maryland College Park with a B.A. in hearing and speech sciences, adding minors in special education as well as human growth and development. During her first two years as a Maryland Terrapin she also earned a citation from the Public Leadership Program, a part of the larger College Park Scholars Program. Her involvement with the Public Leadership Program played an integral role in developing Ms. LaVeck’s passion for civic involvement.
In her daily work at Perry Charnoff, Ms. LaVeck works to create a positive atmosphere of warmth and support when interacting with clients. Her cheerful disposition helps her to build and strengthen relationships with clients, and her goal for each client is to bring transparency, understanding, and optimism to the legal process.
